My dog ate one 2 x2 inch square of homemade chocolate fudge. (Ingredients in 13x9 pan of fudge were 4 cups sugar,1 cup milk, 1/2 pound butter and 13 oz semi sweet chocolate chips.) Is this an emergency?

I estimate that this would be about 0.4 oz of semi-sweet chocolate that Ash ingested, which works out to 8.3 mg/kg of methylxanthines (the toxic component of chocolate) which would not be a dose that could cause toxicity. You should still watch him for any signs of vomiting or diarrhea which could happen from eating any food with a high fat or sugar content.
