Patches is a very handsome kitty! Sneezing, gagging or coughing, laying around, and not eating are common signs of an upper respiratory infection. If it's severe enough to cause him to act lethargic and not eat, he will likely need prescription antibiotics to treat the infection, so I would recommend taking him to the vet for an exam as soon as you are able to. In the meantime, if you want to, you can try bringing him into the bathroom with you while you take a hot shower. The steam and humidity can often help to break up nasal congestion, and may make him feel a bit better in the short term until you're able to see the vet.
