My dog pees when I leave. Is it separation anxiety? How can I help?

So my dog will be outside and go to the restroom and everything if I put him inside the house while I'm still outside even if it's 5 min he will pee kinda like he is mad at me for leaving him same with him in his playpen he always pees in it as soon as I leave for work. Could this be a sign of separation anxiety? If so what is the best way to help him? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 7 months old | 7 lbs

You can start by getting an Adaptil diffuser or collar, which releases a calming pheremone that helps some anxious dogs. This is available online, and at some vet offices and pet stores. You can also consider a calming supplement such as Zylkene or Composure. A thundershirt (also available online or in pet stores) can also help calm some dogs.
