Can I feed my dog rice and eggs if I can't afford regular dog food?

We are completely broke, so for the next few weeks we cant afford dog food. I've been cooking a mixture of rice and eggs for my dog, is that ok for him? I'm just trying to keep him fed and i read that rice and eggs are ok for dogs and have benefits as well. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 78 lbs

Rice and eggs (eggs must be cooked) is OK for now but as soon as you can please get him on some dog food even if it isn't the best quality. At least it will be balanced nutritionally for dogs.
