Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | unspayed
Hello! We figured one of the cats we rescued off the street (she's around 5mos right now) is in heat. All of our cats expect two 3mos old get along with her. And now that she's in heat, all males still attack/just pass by her. Could there be something wrong? Or is it because they do not really get along with here in the first place? Thanks so much in advance!

Cats can have very strange behavior while in heat. This is probably why the male cats are acting strange around her. My best recommendation is to have your cat spayed as soon as possible. This will eliminate any further issues. In the meantime you can keep the female away from the males to avoid any dangerous interactions. I hope this helps. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Best of luck.
