My dog ate a small piece of chocolate biscuit. Should I be worried?

Hi my dog ate a small part of a chocolate biscuit, just want to know if I should be concerned, he’s a 2 year old poochon

You are correct that chocolate can be toxic in dogs. However, a chocolate biscuit will have very little actual chocolate in it. I am attaching a handout on chocolate toxicity below. https://veterinarypartner.vin.com/default.aspx?pid=19239&id=4952115 If Oscar only ate a small part of a biscuit, I would not expect him to have any problems, but dogs can certainly develop some GI upset from eating something abnormal, so I would recommend contacting your veterinarian if he develops any vomiting or diarrhea.
