My cat recovered from parvo-like symptoms. Can she get it again?

Cat what looked like parvo she was vomiting diarrhea loss of appetite and little dehydrated and she was lethargic. Well I kept her hydrated gave her karo syrup and it's the next day and she's back to her old self eating and playing her sister passed a couple of days ago with same symptoms. But didn't show signs until it was really bad. Can they catch parvo again? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 13 days old | 9 lbs

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! If the puppy died from parvo and if parvo was the reason why Cat was vomiting and having diarrhea they do build up an immunity. Some say life long. But we don’t know if that’s why Cat was sick. There are many causes and other viruses that could be blamed. You need to get her vaccinated to protect her. Good luck!
