My pet's stitches opened after surgery. What should I do immediately?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male

My pet had been undergone a family planning surgery 2 days before.... unfortunately he has opened the stiches completely....it was now completely opened but not bleeding....I can't get any medication near by....would u please prescribe a best medicine incase of stiches to close the wound...??please help me as soon as possible.....

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Robbin! Can you post a picture of the incision? What kind of surgery did he have? We can not legally prescribe medications, we only provide advice. In order to prescribe medications we need to have a legal Client-Veterinary-Patient Relationship which means we have to examine the pet. You should immediately put an E-collar on him so he can't continue to traumatize and contaminate the incision. Unfortunately my advice, with out a picture, is to take him right to a Veterinarian. I wish you the best!
