Most topical flea preventatives can be given every 2 weeks, if needed. I find K9 Advantix II to be a more effective topical treatment than Frontline for flea treatment in dogs. Be sure to continue administering flea prevention monthly in order to break the flea life cycle. Other highly effective options for flea treatment include oral medications, such as Nexgard or Bravecto, which are available with a prescription from Bear’s veterinarian i hope this helps and that all goes well!
