Is a new bump or spot on my dog's head something to worry about?

Hi we have just noticed this on our dogs head and were just wondering if it was anything to worry about? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I wouldn't get too worried about it if it is the only spot. It could be from a scab or tick that fell off or a site of trauma (bumped or rubbed his head). I would leave it be and keep an eye on it. If it gets bigger or doesn't resolve in 2-4 weeks I'd have your Vet take a look, Have a good weekend!
