Why is my cat pooping bloody diarrhea? Worms, new food, or illness?

My cat Ron has been pooping diarrhea with blood. He does have roundworms, wondering if this is the cause ? Or if it's because I changed his food brand. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 2 years and 9 months old | 15 lbs

Thanks for using PetCoach. Both roundworms and a sudden change in diet can cause diarrhea with blood. I'd recommend treating the roundworms with something like this. https://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/product/cat/cat-health-and-wellness/wormers-for-cats/excel-roundworm-cat-de-wormer Consider adding a probiotic like Forti-Flora to help as well. If no improvement in 3 days of treatment - or worsening at any time, its time to see your vet. Best of luck to you and Ron!
