My kitten was just spayed. How long should she stay in her safe room?

Hello, My kitten got spayed yesterday, she is isolated in a safe room since I brought her home yesterday. How long should she stay in the safe room? She's eating, drinking and using the litter box. Thank you so much for your help. Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | spayed | 4 months and 24 days old | 4.41 lbs

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. I would keep her isolated from other animals (that might be tempted to lick her incision wound) for the next 2 days. I would recommend making sure she has an E-collar on (so she doesn't lick her own wound) for the next 7 days. After another 2 days you can let her roam the house, but keep her indoors for the next 2 weeks before any outdoor time. Best of luck with Skye.
