Dog's face swollen after shampoo. What can I give for allergic reaction?

What can I give my dog if she had a mild reaction to the shampoo? Her face and eyelids are swollen!

Mild allergic reactions may be treatable with an antihistamine, such as Benadryl or Zyrtec. Ideally, you should contact your veterinarian for an appropriate dose based on your dog's body weight. Legally, we are prohibited from recommending doses for medication, even OTC meds, in the absence of a physical exam and a VPCR (veterinarian-patient-client relationship).
