Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 9 years old | 11 lbs
My cat, an orange tabby named Marmalade has been a little odd lately. Its nothing major so I don't wanna make a huge deal about it, but I still worry. Recently I moved, and havent been able to spend time with her, and her brother, a grey cat named Max, is spending more time outside, and recently she's been meowing a lot, and has thrown up 4 times in the last week. She's also been overwhelmed needy. I just want to see if this is cause for concern.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! How old is Marmalade? The vomit concerns me. I would recommend having her examined to see if she has lost weight. If she is older there are conditions that can occur that cause increased vocalization, increased vomiting and weight loss (diabetes, hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, etc). Other causes of vomiting are: intestinal parasites, a blockage from eating some foreign object, pancreatitis, intestinal disease, food allergy/intolerance or a reaction to a food change. If the vomiting continues she needs to be seen by a Vet. I wish you the best!
