Pet's info: Cat | American Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 1 month old
There is nothing wrong with my male cat. We got him checked for everything and yet he still pees on things every once in a while. He pees on my husband clothes that are on the floor and just this morning while we were sleeping he peed on me and the bed. I just dont understand why he is peeing on stuff when he knows how to use the litter box. How do i stop him from peeing every where and just pee in the litter box?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Inappropriate urination in cats can have a variety of causes. If he has been screened for any medical issues that could be affecting his urination (urinary tract infection, diabetes, kidney issues, etc), then it may be a behavior problem. I would add cat attract litter to the litterboxes, ensure that you have enough boxes in the house (one for each cat plus one), and put a pheromone collar on Midnight. If these suggestions are not adequate to resolve the behavior, then I would consider reaching out to your regular veterinarian to determine if Midnight would need to go on an anti-anxiety medication to help. Good luck!
