My dog is scratching herself raw. Is it fleas or a shampoo allergy?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 2 years and 4 months old | 40 lbs

How do I know if my dog is allergic to fleas or just having and reaction to her shampoo? She's been digger herself to bleed. I don't know what to do

Poor MIssy. Make sure she is on a high quality flea preventative like comfortis or nexgard. You could also try to give her some Benadryl twice a day to see if this helps. With her itching so much, I bet she will need something stronger. I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet will be able to see if she needs any antibiotics and your vet will be able to start her on stronger allergy meds. They can also recommend a good flea preventative if you need some guidance.
