Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Female | unspayed
I’ve noticed the past couple weeks that my cat never really gains weight but rather is always loosing it, she eats very well. Today she seemed very down and not as active. What can be the cause of this ?

Unexplained weight loss is a concern for a chronic (long-term) disease. This can be due to an infection like FeLV, organ failure, or cancer. It's also possible that there is a more innocent reason for her losing weight, but the fact that she's not as active is concerning that she has an illness causing these problems. I recommend having a vet evaluate her sometime soon. They can help to narrow-down the possibilities and may recommend specific tests to make a diagnosis. It's definitely worth having her seen soon, because she is likely feeling rather badly and the sooner the problem is diagnosed, the better the chance of her getting effective treatment. I hope that helps and Luna gets better soon.
