My dog has constipation and his poop is very dry. How can I help?

Thanks for the laugh....I could see the dust cloud..... No I am taking this seriously! Constipation happens when the feces stay in the large intestine too long and too much moisture gets reabsorbed. So there are a few things you can do: 1) Make sure your dog has enough fresh water available. 2) Add bran to his food or, if available cooked or tinned pumpkin. this is fiber which helps hold moisture and helps making the stool mor voluminous. If this does not help your dog have normal bowel movements, take Noble to your vet for an enema. Should Noble start to vomit or get lethargic, you will need to take him to your vet right away,
