My dog won't eat, drink, is lethargic, and has diarrhea. Help!

Question

My dog has not ate in two days will not drink any water an when he poops he acts like he's constipated but when the poop comes out its runny. Hes an inside dog but he keeps wantingbto stay outside an just lay there. Idk what to do. Any home remidies I can do to get him to eat or feel better? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 6 months and 26 days old | 52 lbs

The clinical signs you describe are concerning when they occur in a puppy as they can be seen with serious gastrointestinal infections such as Parvovirus. Other possibilities include intestinal worms and dietary indiscretion, among other possibilities. The sooner these conditions are treated the better the outcome tends to be. For this reason, I recommend that you have Cooper evaluated by your veterinarian to check for these possibilities and to start therapy based on findings. These signs are not likely to improve at home without veterinary care. At the very least they can address dehydration if present and start him medications to make him feel better. Good luck!
