Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | 40 lbs

Hey! I adopted goldy when he was left behind on streets when he was just 20 days. Thereby I bought him. He had been aggressive since 1 year. I have no idea for what. But he bites me when I try to catch him when he escape from choke chain when we take a walk. He goes out of control. He even gets angry and bites me. Even he also bites me when I try to take his toys back. What can I do to put control on his behavior. My feelings get hurt when he does such things. What can I do?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I’m sorry to hear about Goldy! This type of behavior is often due to anxiety. I would strongly recommend talking to your vet about anti-anxiety/ behavior modification medication which can make a huge difference! Trazodone is one of my favorites but there are several to choose from. Often times, training is also needed in conjunction to medication- but medication can be essential to training being effective. Best of luck to you and Goldy!
