My dog's ear fluid keeps refilling after a bite. What can I do?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Female | 65 lbs

got a german shepard greta she was bitten by sister gretchen on ear had a lot of fluidinm ear we lanced open the next day it was back and it is getting bigger dont have funds for vet these girls were dropped off out here in country had fopr about a year they are adults

Thanks for using PetCoach! I'm sorry to hear about Greta. If the fluid was blood or a thin, clear fluid, this could be a hematoma or seroma, which will keep refilling with a shake of the head or a scratch. If that is the case, lance it once more and purchase a head wrap like this https://www.noflapearwrap.com/ If it was pus (thick, white/tan, smelly) in the ear, that's a bit more complicated. It will need to be lanced, cleaned well with hydrogen peroxide or dilute iodine and left OPEN to drain. (NO ear wrap.) If its still filling up repeatedly, you'll have to see a vet for antibiotics.
