My rabbit has a sudden lump under its jaw. What should I do?

My 8 year old rabbit has a lump under his jaw. What can this be? It just randomly appeared. He's still eating right.

Thank you for including the picture. That could possibly be an abscess or a tumor. It looks a little low to be a tooth root abscess, but it May be the angle of the picture. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. A needle aspirate may be done to help determine the diagnosis. From there antibiotics, and or mass removal may be discussed. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
