Why is my vaccinated puppy showing parvo symptoms like vomiting?

Dog looks like he might have the parvo virus, but his records shows that he recently got vacinated. He is 5months and I recently adopted him. On the first day of march 1st I started noticing symptoms my with his stool/diarrhea it was a very weird brown color and he was vomiting and also did not want to eat. 2nd day He didn't drink or eat anything and was simply out of energy but started showing some improvements during the end of the day,he was eating and drinking water on his own. Pet's info: Dog | English Bulldog | Male | 4 months and 22 days old | 48 lbs

He may have had parvovirus. The vaccination may have been given too late for full immunity, but may have helped him not get as sick as he would have without vaccination.
