My dog was limping after playing. I took her in to a vet and they gave her carprofen 100mg. next day i had to bring her back to get an xray. they sedated her. 4 days later i had to bring her back in with severe diarrhea. she also hasn't been eating. the vet switched her meds to famotidine 10mg. they gave me some gastro intestinal food with a fortiflora power to put on the food. it has been a week and she still isn' eating the food, diarrhea and vomiting after she eats. what can i do now?

If she is still vomiting and having diarrhea after a week than your vet should run blood-work to check her kidneys and liver since she was on a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medication. You vet could also try an anti-vomiting medication called Cerenia and an anti-diarrhea medication, like Endosorb to see if that helps. Please call your vet and let him/her know she is still having problems and have her rechecked.
