My 6-month-old dog is dribbling urine. Is it a UTI or behavior?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

I have a almost 6 month old lab mix. Last night out of nowhere he was dribbling EVERYWHERE. Very unusual because he is very close to being housebroken. So concerned I knew I was going to call my vet the next morning. But the next morning he was acting normal. Went outside no messes in the house at all. So I thought it was fine. Now again tonight.. About the same time as last night he's dribbling all over again. What could this be?? A behavior thing or uti or something. Please help!

I would have him seen by a vet for this, as it could be due to a medical illness such as a UTI or bladder stones. The vet can do a physical exam, blood tests, and a urinalysis to diagnose if there is a medical cause behind his dribbling and can treat him for it.
