I adopted my 4 month old puppy from a shelter a week ago, took her to the vet and they said she has kennel cough. Put her on clavamox 250 mg twice a day. Since she is a puppy and was found as a stray the vet recommended doing all sets of puppy vaccines, she is due for another set this upcoming week.. How long would it be recommended to wait to vaccinate after treatment of kennel cough? I am asking more than one vet to make sure i will go with the correct decision on what's best for my pup.

I can understand your concern. Unless your puppy is having current complicaitons from kennel cough and/or is feverish, you are ok to vaccinate Lucie as scheduled. Vaccinating a pet is only contraindicated when the pet is actively infected and has a weak energy immune system. We do this because vaccines will challenge the pets immune system greatly and can make an already sick pet even sicker. I hope this helps!
