Castrating can help Boss with hormonally related aggressive behaviors such as territorial aggression, and I do recommend having it done for him. After he is neutered, he should be seen by a professional behavioral expert to work with his aggression. Owners should never try to train an aggressive dog themselves due to safety reasons, and it should be left to an expert. You can ask your vet for a referral to one for Boss.
