My German shepherd puppy ate half of a container of chocolate frosting while I was at work. We called the vet and induced vomiting within the hour, but now 6 hours later, he is much more active than usual. He is about 16 lbs, And we think ate about 8 oz of Duncan Hines classic chocolate frosting. It's midnight, so we would prefer to only take him in inly if it's an emergency. Should we be worried?

Oh no, that was naughty of Gunner! Given that being more active than usual is the only sign you are seeing from him, I would not take him into an emergency vet. If he starts vomiting, having diarrhea, excessive urination, a racing heart rate, muscle tremors, or seizures, then I would take him into a vet immediately. Continue to monitor him, as symptoms of chocolate toxicity can take up to 24 hours to emerge.
