My female cat's first heat: How to calm her and my male dogs?

Hi there my female cat is in heat for the first time and I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to calm it as I have male dogs and it's driving them nuts. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 14 lbs

Oh my. That is quite the situation. You can try the Feliway calming diffuser plug-ins or talk to your vet about perhaps getting her a prescription for a light sedative (i.e. Clomicalm) to use temporarily during her cycle. It may be best to have her spayed after she is done with her heat cycle to avoid any future inconveniences, especially if you are not looking to breed her. Best of luck with your kitty!
