My dog drank chocolate milk from my cereal bowl. Will she be okay?

Hello, Maggy again for into something so I was eating chocolate cereal and I left the bowl on the table with the milk bring chocolaty and she drank it does it matter, or is she fine? Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | spayed | 5 years and 4 months old | 8 lbs

Maggy may see some stomach upset from drinking the milk, but otherwise she should be fine. The chocolate cereal will not have a lot of chocolate in it. Dairy does cause GI upset in dogs, so she may have some vomiting or diarrhea from it. If you see that, I can give you a home remedy that may help. Withhold food for 12-24 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in her normal diet. Hopefully, she should be fine :-)
