Why is my kitten sneezing? Is it allergies? What can I do affordably?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered

my 16 week old kitten has started sneezing out of no where today sometime it happens 5 or 6 times in a row and then he usually rubs his nose could ne have alergeries or just dust or something in his nose. he eats and drinks as normal we cannot affors a vet at this time as we just had dental work.done and it cost us our savings is there anything we can do for him that dont cost a fortune

It is quite possible he has developed an upper respiratory infection or has an allergy to something in the environment such as air freshener or cleaning products. If you have introduced anything new into the house you should remove it again, most infections will resolve over 5-7days, monitor closely for any loss of appetite or fever
