Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 months and 6 days old
My dog fell from my bed and after 3 days he started walking but this Friday his brother (dog) sat on his sprained leg and now he isn't moving and his appetite has also decreased. Is it normal? Thanks!

No, this isn't normal at all. It could be that Sonam leg was broken and that's why he won't move. It could also be that he is in severe pain. He need veterinary attention now for this. Please do not give him any human pain medications, as many are toxic to dogs and can be fatal if given. The vet can prescribe him pain medications if needed, and any other treatment for his symptoms. Please bring him into a vet ASAP.

Hello, I would recommend taking Sonam into the vet for a check up. A fall from a bed doesn't seem that far for us, but for a dog it can be several times their height. It is possible he has an injury and is in pain. Not wanting to move for several days after a fall suggests a painful injury, as well as decreased appetite. He could have sprained his leg, have a soft tissue injury or even a fracture. A vet will be able to make a diagnosis with an exam and x-rays. Sonam may just need some rest or even a cast. Pain killers prescribed from the vet will help him be more comfortable and then he should gain his appetite once he is feeling better.

That does not sound normal and I think he should be examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can take an x-ray to evaluate his leg and determine if treatment is needed. He may need an anti-inflammatory and pain medications.
