My newborn puppy is constipated at 15 days old. What can I do?

My new puppy sandy is constipated and he is 15 days old what I have to do?

It is not as common to see a constipated puppy as opposed to a puppy with colitis (inflamed colon), and they can look very similar. If your puppy does have hardened stools in a straining to defecate then constipation is likely. However if your puppy has loose stools and is straining, he most likely has colitis, which is treated completely different. Constipation in puppies is treated by first addressing any dehydration issues with plenty of water intake (add water to food or feed canned food), then use medications(I.e. Lactulose) to help regulate the stools, and if puppy is completely blocked (obstipation) then Sandy will need to have an enema done. I hope your puppy gets better soon!
