My 8 month old puppy had 3 small lumps under her skin. One is just under 1cm x .5cm and the other 2 are probably under .5cm . You can't see them on the skin but they are oval shape and move under the skin on her left side toward her back. I'm unsure what this could be but the vet didn't seem concerned and said it's too small to do to a needle biopsy. Can this be a benign condition as I can't see anything on puppies that is giving me information!

In a young puppy like Mia, malignant tumors are extremely rare, and I don't think they would necessary be anything to worry about at this point it time. From your description, the lumps do sound very small, and you did the right thing by having them seen by a vet. It could be that these lumps are benign tumors or cysts, and I would keep an eye on them for now. It's good that there are measurements on them, and if they appear to get bigger, I would have Mia seen by the vet again to have a fine needle aspirate done on them. If they don't grow and/or don't cause her any problems, I would not be concerned about them. I hope this helps put your mind at ease :-)
