My senior dog is limping, no injury. What pain relief can I give?

Pet's info: Dog | American Eskimo Dog | Male | neutered | 9 years and 8 months old | 40 lbs

40 lb American Eskimo Mini-9 1/2 yrs old- front left leg in pain and limping - no apparent injury such as open wound or Bruising higher up on the leg. What kind of pain relief can be offered

I strongly recommend getting him seen by your vet to determine the cause of his lameness before trying to alleviate his pain. There may be an injury or strain you may be unaware of, not everything bruises. First, human analgesics can be toxic to pets and secondly, you may mask symptoms that would lead to a faster diagnosis.
