Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | neutered | 11 years and 11 months old | 11 lbs
My indoor cat has starting vomiting once in the morning for 11 of the last 14 days. The first two times, it was a little foamy clear liquid, with each other time since containing hairballs. Other than this morning singular vomit, the only other significant change we can tell is that his stomach has started gurgling. His appetite, drinking, sleeping and toilet habits are all as usual for him, and he seems fine in himself apart from the morning vomit. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Given that her form is otherwise good and you have seen evidence of hairballs I recommend you treat her for these with an over the counter paste designed to reduce the build up of hair; a fiber and probiotic supplement such as fortiflora may help also. Regular use of hairbal paste as a prevention is recommended in cats which are prone t episodes. If she is overgrooming, a full physical exam in order to rule out any medical causes or sources of pain and discomfort such as early arthritis may be worthwhile
