Are essential oil diffusers safe for cats? My cat was exposed.

Hi there - one of your vets just advised me that my cats shouldn't be exposed to essential oils, even through a diffuser. I'll absolutely follow that advice but I have to note that the (mist/water) diffuser was used 3x and for approx. 2-3 months I've had a reed diffuser with peppermint in my bedroom. The cats have never had a reaction but is there something I should be worried about given that they've been exposed to the diffusers? Should they be tested? Thanks again for your great help!

You are welcome for the advice, and thank you for listening to it! Given that you haven't seen any reaction at this point, I wouldn't worry about having them tested. I'm glad they didn't show any signs! I hope this helps :-)
