My Cat is about 7 or 8 months and I just got her. When she firs arrived she was pooping on my bed and not really eating her wet food. so I gave her a different kind of wet food and she has been eating non-stop but now she is only peeing. Her stomach looks really big almost like she is bloated. she hasent gone to the bathroom since the night before last only peeing 4 times today but is not showing any other bad signs. what should I do? thank you!!

Congrats on your new cat, but I'm sorry she's having problems! It sounds like Ivy may be constipated. Constipation can be caused by anal sac impaction, intestinal parasites, a foreign body, too little fiber in the diet, or lack of exercise. I recommend giving her a teapoon of canned pumpkin puree (not pumpkin pie filling) mixed in with her food to see if that helps. If she is still constipated in 24-48 hours, she will need to see a vet as she will likely need a laxative or an enema. Your vet can diagnose the cause of the constipation as well.
