My cat eats from my hand, but barely touches her food bowl. Why?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 11 lbs

My 8 yr old cat does something funny when I pour her food on her bowl she eats very little and lraves the rest for later but when i place the serving in my hands she eats out of my hand the whole serving size i pour. She eats 1/2 cup orijen sparated into two meals and she is about 10 lbs.

Cats tend to be grazers, and will come back for food when they want it if it's left out. But if you have it in your hands, she will know that it will only be there temporarily, so that's why Sweetie is eating it all out of your hands at one time. It's certainly fine that she leaves her food for later :-)
