My chihuahua puppy appears to have hiccups but it has been all day and he won't play with my other dog as usual he did have a bm but only once. Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Male | unneutered | 3 months and 22 days old | 6 lbs

There are a couple of things that can cause hiccups in puppies. These include eating and drinking too fast, and nervousness or excitement. I would try to calm him down by putting him in a quiet room by himself, and pet him gently to calm him down. It's ok that he only had one BM today; while puppies typically have multiple BMs throughout the day, there can be variations in it, and as long as he's having at least once, it's not something to worry about just yet. Hiccups are typically harmless, and you can monitor him if you'd like, and take him into the vet in the morning for a heath check if he's still having hiccups and you are concerned.
