We have a lab dog and 2 days ago we came home from work and noticed he chewed up my Christmas stocking, in side the stocking was a hot chocolate package which he also chewed up. Since than he has not eat anything and has not popped what can we do?

Oh my. I am so sorry to say but your pet needs to go to a vet immediately. Chocolate is toxic to dogs, as you probably already know, and powdered chocolate is one of the most toxic forms of chocolate. Please take him in to the ER vet immediately for detoxification, fluids and much needed supportive care to help stabilize his condition. All the best!

I would take him into a vet immediately. Based on the fact that he has not eaten anything and hasn't pooped, I would be very concerned that he has an obstruction from the Christmas stocking contents. He needs an x-ray now to see if he does have an obstruction, and if he does, he will need surgery to remove it. Please take him into a vet now.
