My cat licked Neosporin. Can it cause drooling or other side effects?

Can cats have side effects due to Neosporin eye ointment due to liking it off the would. Can they drool because of that?

Yes, it can cause side effects such as nausea, which would cause the drooling. I would not recommend using it on your cat unless you have an Ecollar to put on him to keep him from licking the Neosporin. Oral antibiotics are better to treat an infected wound, which you can get from your vet by prescription.
