Why is my cat losing fur on her tummy and legs, no skin issues?

My cat has lost fur on her tummy and back of legs like she been shaved she has no scab,fleas or redness purring and eating what could this be. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 8 years and 6 months old

It sounds like she is an over-groomer which is usually caused by stress/OCD. Have her examined by a vet to determine the exact cause. If it is secondary to over-grooming, your vet can prescribe an anti-anxiety medication, like Prozac, to see if that helps.
