My dog ate a few pieces of bologna with the red thing still on them. Will that hurt him?

Thanks for visiting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. No worries, he should be able to move this along his GI tract no problem. He will likely just poop it straight out. Sometimes this can cause a bout of loose stool, so if seen you can feed him a bland diet of boiled plain chicken and rice or cottage cheese, and 1-2 tsp of canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) can help add fiber to solidy his stools again. Otherwise, he should be just fine. Take care.
