My cat swallowed a plastic straw wrapper. Is this dangerous for her?

I think my cat ate a plastic wrapper off a straw..... can this hurt her?

Sometimes it can get caught in the throat and cause coughing and irritation. Other times it passes to the stomach with no problems. As far as exiting her, it depends on if it was chewed or how large of a piece went down. The smaller pieces will pass not trouble at all. If it was whole then it may pass but does have potential cause an obstruction or GI upset such as vomiting or diarrhea. Keep her food and water routine the same and monitor for any symptoms. If she stops eating or has vomiting or diarrhea, then I would get her checked
