Based on the picture, I would suspect that Kittu is a male since it appears that he has a penis and what I suspect are 2 testicles above that (closer to his tail). Male cats normally keep their penis inside the prepuce, so it is not normally visible. I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.

    Hello! From the picture, I'm going to say say female. It would help to know the age. If there are testicles present, they will be between the two holes circled on the photograph and they usually descend by the time the kitten is two months old. However, sometimes the testicles do not drop in a condition called "cryptorchidism" and in this case, the testicles are retained in the abdomen. This is fairly uncommon, but it does happen!
