My 9-month-old puppy threw up food again. What's causing it?

My 9mo. puppy just threw this up, I have no idea what it is. It’s happened once before but not in about a month. Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | unneutered | 9 months and 1 day old | 60 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Judging from the picture, this appears to be partially digested food that Behr threw up. If this has happened before, it may be related to the diet. I would recommend changing the diet and see if this makes a difference. I would recommend Science Diet, Royal Canin, Purina One or Natural Balance as my recommendations. If the vomiting does not resolve or it worsens, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine Behr so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made.
