Pet's info: Cat | British Shorthair | Female | spayed | 9 years and 9 months old | 11 lbs
I think my cat may have conjunctivitis, does she need to see a vet or is it safe for me to go to the local drug store?

A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops specifically designed for dogs (on prescription). Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well, and this is probably the most important reason for her being checked. Please do not hesitate to contact us again on the forum or by requesting a consultation if you have any more questions or to discuss it any further.
