My 9 1/2 y/o mixed breed had an anal gland rupture yesterday. Went to the vet, she's on Clyndamiacin and an antiflammatory and she was doing but better. Today I noticed that side is swollen again, is this normal for what i happening.

With anal gland infection you must be patient, it may become worse before it becomes better, it often takes more than a month to resolve. as the treatment has been started yesterday i would not expect a clear improvement just yet, you need to give it time.
