My dog is acting different and has head tremors. Should I see a vet?

I have a 6 year old medium sized rescue dog that has acted a little different last couple days and then last night I noticed some small head tremors. Then this morning they are worse and much longer. I haven't seen any other symptoms other than these tremors. Should I take him in to see a vet?

Yes, I would definitely take Hoss to the vet for an exam. Head tremors are not normal and this is a concerning sign, especially if they seem to be getting worse and he is also acting "off" or unusual in other ways as well. I would be concerned that he may have a neurologic illness such as meningitis or encephalitis, a stroke or bleeding problem in the brain, or even a brain tumor. Certain types of toxins can also cause neurologic symptoms like this. Your vet can do a complete neurologic exam, and may also recommend blood work or other testing to help diagnose the problem and see what can be done to treat it.
